Bhubaneswar, Oct 5: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated the Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT) Tech Carnival-2023, emphasizing the pivotal role of technology in the future. Patnaik encouraged engineering students to stay engaged with the latest technology and stay ahead in the fast-paced tech landscape. BPUT was lauded as a pre-eminent institution contributing to the development of the state and the country. Patnaik highlighted Odisha’s progress in skilling youth and transforming into the skill capital of the world, citing the effectiveness of the World Skill Center in making students globally employable.
The Tech Carnival aims to engage students in technical, cultural, and sports activities, becoming a calendar event to recognize students’ hard work and dedication. State Minister of Skill Development Pritiranjan Gharai praised Odisha’s status as an epicenter of technical education under Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s visionary leadership.
