Maharashtra, Oct 2: The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) declared on Monday its decision to independently contest all 48 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in the state, as announced by senior party leader Nitin Sardesai.
This resolution followed a comprehensive review meeting conducted by MNS President Raj Thackeray with top office-bearers to assess all parliamentary constituencies, Sardesai stated.
While committing to independent participation, the party has also granted authority to Raj Thackeray, the estranged cousin of Shiv Sena (UBT) President and former CM Uddhav Thackeray, to make decisions regarding potential alliances or group affiliations in the future.”
