Thiruvananthapuram, Nov 10: A man was nabbed by the Kerala Police for making a threatening call that a bomb had been planted at the Government Secretariat here on Thursday.
Police said the man, suffering from mental illness, made the fake call, and he has been identified as Nidhin, hailing from Uchakkada, Pozhiyoor.
The threat call was received at the state police headquarters at 11.30 am through the Emergency Response Support System (ERSS).
On November 1, the Police Control Room at the State Police Headquarters received a phone call threatening to kill Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.
Later, the police found that a 12-year-old boy made the phone call. The boy, who also abused the police, has been identified as a seventh-grade student from Ernakulam.
