Jalna, Nov 4: Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has allocated Rs 25 lakh as financial assistance from Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for treatment of those who wre injured during hunger strike by activist Manoj Jarange-Patil for Maratha reservation at Antarwali Sarati village in Ambad taluka of the district.
The treatment was carried out from September 3 to October 29 at Galaxy Superspeciality Hospital & Research Institute at Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar on the injured persons, an official press statement said on Friday.
Funds of Rs 25,23,375 have been transferred to the bank account of the State Bank of India, Shahaganj branch, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, the statement added.
