Maha CM and DyCM Pay Homage with Wreaths on Police Memorial Day to Martyred Policemen

Mumbai, Oct 23: Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister & Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Saturday paid tributes to officers and jawans of the police force who lost their lives in the line of duty across the country by offering floral wreaths at the memorial at the martyrs’ ground of police headquarters in Naigaon, here.

Shinde paid tributes by reading the information message of 15 police officers, 173 police personnel who were martyred last year across the country.

Both Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Fadnavis met the kinds of the martyred police personnel and consoled them.

On this occasion, a special police drill was conducted by deputy commissioner of police Tejashwi Satpute.

MLA Sada Saravankar, Maharashtra director general of police Rajnish Sheth, city police commissioner Vivek Phansalkar, special commissioner of police Deven Bharti, along with senior police officers and relatives of the martyrs attended the programme.
