Srinagar, Nov 16 – Lt Governor Manoj Sinha has approved an ex-gratia of Rs. 5 lakh each for the next of kin of those who lost their lives in a bus accident in Assar, Doda, Jammu, and Kashmir. He also approved an amount of Rs. 1 lakh for those injured in the accident. The bus accident resulted in the death of at least 36 passengers, with 19 others injured when the bus skidded off the road and rolled down a 300-feet deep gorge in Doda district.
