Nashik, Dec 11 – A minor girl was attacked by a leopard at Vanarwadi village in Dindori taluka of the district on Saturday, creating an atmosphere of panic among villagers of Dindori taluka once again.
A leopard once again attacked and injured one Rohini Yuvraj Kadale from Vanjarwadi village in Dindori taluka.
According to preliminary information, the five-and-a-half-year-old girl was returning to thei4r home along with her mother, police said.
At that time, the big cat who was hiding in sugarcane field next to the road attacked the said girl.
However, the girl’s relatives who were going along with them shouted and chased away the feline.
Then, the local residents informed about incident to the Forest department, whose team reached the spot and conducted the ‘panchanama’.
The injured girl was first admitted to Dindori Rural Hospital and from there, she was shifted to the district hospital for further treatment, sources added.
