Hyderabad, Nov 23: AICC President Mallikarjuna Kharge asserted that the recent leakage of examination question papers is indicative of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s governing approach.
Addressing an election meeting in Alampur and Nalgonda, Kharge remarked that both Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi and CM KCR in Telangana exhibit similar working styles. He alleged that under CM KCR, BRS MLAs, MPs, and Ministers have been implicated in various scams, leading Telangana from a revenue surplus state during its inception to a debt-ridden one today.
Kharge accused PM Modi and KCR of having secret agreements and claimed that they are unaware of the hardships faced by the poor. He praised former Prime Minister Late Indira Gandhi for implementing numerous schemes for the welfare of the poor, criticizing KCR for finding fault with such a noble personality.
Highlighting the increase in unemployment under CM KCR’s administration, Kharge mentioned the failure to fill 2 lakh vacancies and the diversion of SC and ST funds by the BRS government. He pointed out that BRS, BJP, and MIM joined forces in the elections, emphasizing that the Congress is contesting independently in the upcoming assembly elections on November 30.
Kharge expressed the need to permanently send KCR to the farmhouse and assured that the first signature, once Congress comes to power, will be on the six guarantees.
He criticized KCR and PM Modi for not actively addressing the problems of the people, contrasting it with Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra, which aimed to understand the challenges faced by the citizens.
Stating the significance of the Telangana elections for the Congress, Kharge urged voters not to support a leader like KCR who has not actively engaged with the people.
