Srinagar, Nov 23: Jammu & Kashmir government has dismissed four employees, including a doctor and police constable, invoking Article 311(2)(c) of the Constitution, without disclosing specific details of their alleged terror or anti-national activities. The sacked individuals include Dr. Nissar-ul-Hassan, Abdul Majeed Bhat, Farooq Ahmed Mir, and Abdul Salam Rather. Former Chief Ministers Omar Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti criticized the dismissals, with Abdullah expressing the belief that the matter will be revisited with a change in government, and Mufti calling it a “humiliation of Kashmiris on a daily basis.” Over 50 employees have been terminated in the last two years as part of the government’s effort to counter the terrorist ecosystem in J&K.
