Jagtial – Telangana, Oct 31 : Congress MLC Jeevan Reddy on Tuesday stressed that physical attacks have no place in politics.

Addressing media at the Congress Party office, here, he stated, “The fact that Telangana exists today owes itself to the collective efforts of its people, not just Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s (KCR’s) leadership.”

Reddy went on to acknowledge the significant roles played by students, the unemployed, and employees during the Telangana movement, asserting that KCR was only a part of that movement.

Regarding the attack on Medak MP Kota Prabhakar Reddy, he called for a thorough police investigation into the circumstances surrounding the MP’s assault.

It may be noted that Medak MP and Dubbaka BRS MLA candidate Prabhakar Reddy was subjected to a brutal knife attack during his election campaign in Surampalli village, Doultabad Mandal, in this district on Monday.

Prabhakar Reddy is currently receiving treatment at Yashoda Hospital, Secunderabad.
