Jalna, Oct 14: Manoj Jarange Patil, the Jalna-based activist, who is fighting for the reservation to the Maratha community on Saturday firmly said that to stop the work of the committee led by justice Sandeep Shinde and give reservation to Maratha community .

Addressing a mammoth rally at Antarwali Village in Ambad taluka of the district today, Mr Jarange,-Patil gave an ultimatum to the government, saying we cannot wait more than ten days, as one month is already completed today. Later he appealed to the government to stop the work of reservation committee and give Kunbi caste certificate to Maratha community and give reservation from OBC.

He further said that politicians were brought up on the strength of poor Marathas people, and now they are asking us from where they brought money for organising rally? Mr Jarange -Patil
disclosed that Rs 21 lakhs was collected from peoples of only 23 villages of 123 villages. People have paid money.
Without naming of NCP leader Chhagan Bhujbal statement who was raised a question to Jarange-Patil from where they brought money to organise rally, he said that such a great leader should know what to say and appealed to Deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar to explain him.
He also appealed to the Deputy chief minister Devendra Fadnavis to explain Gunaratna Sadavarte, who had demanded to arrest Jarange -Patil.
Mr Jarange -Patil firmly said that give reservation to Marathas as Kunbis from OBC only, His other demand were to hang the accused in Kopardi atrocities case, Survey OBCs every ten years, weed out advanced castes from OBCs, it is possible to give reservation by making a separate category, but only 50 percent reservation should be given, a separate category should be maintained, he added.
Mr Jarange -Patil said the rally has shown the strength of the Marathas to the government. If we want to create a happy future for our children, we have to fight today, he said.
He appealed to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde along with the central and state governments that they should immediately announce the decision to grant reservation of rights to the Maratha community.
At last he said , ” I will not return to my house unless I get reservation and reiterated that either my funeral yatra will be held or the Marathas’ victory march will be held,he added.
