Israeli strikes in Gaza have damaged over 50% of housing units, with more than 40,000 completely destroyed

Cairo, Nov 10: Israeli strikes have damaged more than half of all housing units in the Gaza Strip and fully destroyed over 40,000 of them, the government of the Palestinian enclave said on Friday in a statement.

“More than 50% of housing units in Gaza were damaged as a result of airstrikes and shelling from the occupation [Israel], 40,000 housing units were completely destroyed,” the statement read.
