Infosys to Award 85% Performance Bonus to Qualifying Employees for Q2 FY25

Infosys has announced that it will grant an 85% performance bonus to eligible employees for the second quarter of fiscal year 2025. This bonus, for the quarter ending in September, will be paid out with November salaries. The bonus amount will vary based on individual performance and contributions.

The bonus primarily targets mid- and junior-level staff, particularly those in delivery and sales roles, which make up a large portion of Infosys’ workforce of 315,000 employees. Qualifying employees have already been informed via email.

Some employees in Band 3 have reported receiving performance bonuses as high as 100%, depending on their contributions.

In a message to employees, Infosys emphasized its focus on building a high-performance culture, with the strong Q2 results reflecting broad growth, leadership in Cloud and Generative AI, and the dedication of its staff.

Unlike its competitors like TCS, Infosys does not tie its bonus payouts to office attendance. While employees are required to work in the office for at least 10 days a month, their bonuses are unaffected by this requirement.

The Q2 bonus of 85% is an increase from the 80% bonus in the previous quarter and a significant rise from the 60% bonus in Q4 FY24. Infosys also plans salary hikes for all employees by April 2025 after facing some challenges in this area over the past few years.

For Q2 FY25, Infosys reported a 4.7% rise in net profit to Rs. 6,506 crore and a 5.1% increase in revenue to Rs. 40,986 crore. The company’s growth forecast for FY25 has been revised upward to 3.75% to 4.5%.
