Hyderabad, Nov 16: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) President and Chief Minister K.Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) on Wednesday said that India is yet matured politically.
India is still witnessing clashes in the name of caste and religion and during elections, parties are making false promises and everything will be messy, KCR said while addressing at Praja Ashirwada sabha in Bodhan.
People should know the candidate’s qualities and also the history of the political parties before voting, he said and claimed that BRS was born for Telangana people and Telangana rights.
Congress party merged Telangana with Andhra against the will of the people of Telangana . Telangana was in turmoil for 58 years. 400 people were shot dead in the 1969 movement, he said.
“ I participated in many programs held in Bodhan during the movement”, he said that the “ Congress party has been the enemy of Telangana since then till today”.
