Shimla, Nov 20: Himachal Pradesh Council of Ministers on Saturday gave the nod to revive the State Administrative Tribunal and decided to create five posts in the proposed SAT including four members including chairmen two administrative and one judicial field members.
Addressing media persons after the cabinet meeting, Industry Minister Harash Vardhan Chauhan informed about this cabinet decision.
He said the government has proposed to reinstate the SAT administrative Tribunal will be reinstated to quickly decided the about more than 15000 cases pending before Himachal Pradesh High court as previous government has closed down the SAT and bringing the adjudication of administrative cases within the ambit of Himachal Pradesh High court.
He said that to reinstate the SAT COM sanctioned 5 posts including the Chairman, three other members and a Registar.
Different groups of employees are on different page to disband or revival of SAT however state government now forward the proposal to centre to get final nods on this decision.
