Jammu, Oct 30: Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) Chairman Ghulam Nabi Azad assured the people that his political approach would always be grounded in moral and social values, pledging never to discriminate on religious grounds. Addressing a public meeting in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir, Azad emphasized the inclusive foundation of DPAP, based on principles of equality and merit.

Azad stated that throughout his political career, he has advocated for inclusiveness, emphasizing that his initiatives, including the development of districts, colleges, hospitals, and other projects in Jammu and Kashmir, benefit all communities without bias.

If elected to power, Azad pledged to escalate his developmental agenda, prioritizing pending works and focusing on building hospitals and colleges in underserved areas. He expressed a commitment to expanding road networks to connect rural areas with cities and towns, fostering economic growth and job opportunities.

Azad firmly rejected the politics of hatred and religious manipulation for votes, stating that he believes in the politics of merit and work. He emphasized the importance of a positive and developmental approach, assuring the people that his track record speaks for itself.

Thousands of people attended Azad’s rally, acknowledging and appreciating his past developmental projects in the region during his tenure as the Chief Minister of erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir. Azad assured the crowd that more such projects would be undertaken, envisioning Ramban as a modern district if given the opportunity to serve the people again.
