Kolhapur, Satara, Oct 14: Three persons, including a police constable attached to Juna Rajwada police station in Kolhapur and a woman, were killed on the spot in a collision between a tempo and a car.
The incident occurred this afternoon at Pachvad Phata in Karad tehsil of Satara district, on the Pune-Bangalore National Highway.
According to Karad tehsil police, decades identified as Nitin Bapuso Pawar, a police constable, and Manisha Appasaheb Jadhav, a resident of Jalliin Gadhinglaj tehsil of Kolhapur district, while third decades and seriously injured, yet to be identified by police.
The injured person was admitted to Karad Hospital for medical treatment.
Police are looking into it further and have yet to receive any details.
