Srinagar, Oct 25: Police on Tuesday arrested a drug peddler and recovered 36 Kgs of Charas like substance from his possession in Jammu Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
The drug peddler has been identified as Shakeel Ahmad Bhat, a resident of Arwani Bijbehara. He was shifted to a police station where he will remain in custody, Police said.
Accordingly, a case under relevant sections of law stands registered at Police Station Bijbehara and further investigation has been initiated.
Police also warned if any person found indulging in drug peddling will be dealt with as per law.”
