Chandigarh, Dec 18 – In an intelligence-based operation, police in Punjab have arrested drug peddler Jaskaranjit alias Karan and recovered 2kg Heroin alongwith Rs 1.02 lakh drug money
DGP Gaurav Yadav said on Sunday that the accused tried to flee from the spot and was nabbed after a successful chase by personnel from SBS Nagar police station.
He said an FIR has been registered at PS City Banga and Investigation is on to establish backward and forward linkages
