CBI arrests HC of Delhi Police in alleged bribery case

New Delhi, Oct 30: Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Sunday arrested a Head Constable of Delhi Police posted at police Station Maidan Garhi in an alleged bribery case.

CBI registered a case against the accused, identified as Kamal Kumar, on the basis of a complaint. It was alleged that the accused had demanded a bribe of Rs 20 thousand for not causing any hindrance in construction on the plot of the complainant’s daughter, CBI said in a statement.

The probe agency laid a trap and caught the accused while allegedly accepting the bribe from the complainant, it said.
