Tirupati, Nov 7: Former Union Minister Dr Chinta Mohan on Monday charged the Bhartiya Janata Party ( BJP) with Rs 14,000 crores in corruption in the issue of Electrical bonds by SBI in the last 3 years.

Addressing reporters at Tirupati press club here, the senior congress leader demanded that the Chairman and managing director (CMD) of SBI disclose all details of this 14000 crore corruption through this shadow deal within ten days.

He also demanded that both PM Modi and Finance Minister Smt Nirmala Seetharaman should explain this financial debacle.

He said sadly banks had become hideouts of corrupt money instead of the objective of Indira Gandhi nationalising them to facilitate loans to students, farmers, women, and backward classes.

He said the adulterated liquor sold in MRP centers of AP had led to kidney, liver, and heart problems among even 35-year-old youth and demanded the government act on such liquor sales.

He said the PIL he filed during farmer Supreme Court chief justice KG Balakrishna had led to the launch of the mid-day meal scheme.
