Congress Announces 61 Candidates for Rajasthan Assembly Elections, Total Reaches 156

New Delhi, Nov 01 – The Congress party has unveiled its fourth and fifth list of candidates for the upcoming Rajasthan Assembly elections, bringing the total number of declared candidates to 156. The announcement was made by Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal, highlighting the inclusion of sitting MLAs and prominent leaders in the lists.

Former MP Badri Ram Jakhar will contest from the Bali seat, and Congress national spokesperson Gaurav Vallabh has been nominated for Udaipur. Other notable names include former Assembly Speaker Deependra Singh Shekhawat, who will contest from Srimadhopur, and former Union Minister Mahadev Singh Khandela, fielded from Khandela assembly constituency.

The party has also shown confidence in Vikas Chaudhary, who joined Congress after being denied a ticket by the BJP, by nominating him from Kishangarh.

Elections for the 200-member Aloo Assembly in Rajasthan are scheduled for November 25, with the counting of votes set to take place on December 3. The Congress is gearing up with a diverse set of candidates to contest in the crucial state elections.
