Mumbai, Nov 16 – Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, in collaboration with the state government, district administration, and Tata Technology Limited, inaugurated the Centre for Invention, Innovation, Incubation, and Training Centre (CIIIT) on Wednesday. The initiative aims to enhance students’ skills in the Naxal-affected district of Gadchiroli, promoting industry-based training within the region.
Speaking at the event, the Chief Minister emphasized that the training center is not only designed for students but also aims to create entrepreneurs in districts like Gadchiroli, ultimately boosting the overall economic development of the region. The establishment of this modern technology-equipped center is expected to provide numerous opportunities for training and employment to the youth of Gadchiroli.
Gadchiroli has been actively focusing on infrastructure development, including roads, railways, communication facilities, and mobile networks, with plans to connect the district by air through the development of an airport. The CIIIT in Gadchiroli is geared towards industry-based training, aligning with Industry 4.0, and aims to develop the skills of students in the district. The center will provide training in various technical aspects related to the development of advanced technical skills, catering to the needs of the industry.
The inauguration event was attended by officials, including Deputy Inspector General of Police Gadchiroli Sandeep Patil, Collector Sanjay Meena, Superintendent of Police Nilotpal, Tata Technology Gadchiroli Project Manager Gajanan Javanjalkar, and Project Assistant Jeevan Kale.
