Jaipur, Nov 16 – Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Amin Pathan, with several office-bearers and supporters, joined the Congress party in Rajasthan. The joining ceremony took place at the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee office in Jaipur, attended by party leaders KC Venugopal, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, state in-charge Sukhwinder Singh Randhawa, and Congress leader Mohan Prakash.
Amin Pathan, a former active worker of the BJP for 25 years, has held various positions from the district to the national level. He expressed his commitment to work for the development of youth, sportspersons, backward classes, and women by joining the Congress. Pathan emphasized that he decided to resign from the BJP due to a deviation from the party’s slogan “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas.”
During the joining ceremony, several others, including Razia Pathan, Asma Pathan, Shahnaz Qureshi, Rakesh Chauhan, Harish Kumar Malav, Shakir Shah, and Azhar Khan, also joined the Congress.
