Guwahati, Dec 12 – Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Monday and invited him to visit the state to lay the foundation stone of Kamakhya Corridor project.
During the meeting, Sarma invited Prime Minister Modi to visit Assam to lay the foundation stone of the Kamakhya Corridor project, dedicating the grand statue of Bir Lachit at Jorhat, inaugurating the Tinsukia Medical Colleg and laying the foundation of Sivasagar Medical College.
“I had the privilege to call upon Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi today. Shared Assam’s immense gratitude for his continuous guidance & leadership and briefed him on the ongoing pro-people programs during our interaction.
I took the opportunity to seek the PM’s counsel on organizing the Assam Business Summit in 2024.
