He complimented troops for meticulous planning and successful conduct of OP KALI, #Uri on 15 Nov where an infiltration bid was foiled and two terrorists were eliminated & war-like stores recovered,” Army’s Srinagar based Chinar Corps said in a post on X on Friday.

On Thursday ,the Army said Malik was an important terrorist launch commander for terror organisations from Leepa in the north to the areas in Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir, opposite Rajouri in the south.

The commanding officer of Army’s 8 Rashtriya Rifles Colonel Raghav said the neutralization of Malik has dealt a blow to the terror infrastructure across LoC as well as sympathisers and supporters of terrorism.
