Jammu, Nov 1: Three army soldiers sustained injuries on Wednesday due to a landmine explosion close to the Line of Control in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Army sources said during routine de-mining exercises along the LoC, the troops inadvertently stepped over the mine.
“It was a vintage mine and exploded during the de-mining exercise,” sources added.
“The jawans with minor injuries were evacuated and rushed to the Military Hospital Rajouri while their conditions were stated to be normal,” they said.
