Visakhapatnam, Oct 17: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has inaugurated three pharma companies and participated in ground breaking ceremony of two bulk drugs units at the JNPC here on Monday.

The Chief Minister inaugurated Eugia Steriles Private Limited at Parawada which has come up with an investment of Rs 500 crores in an extent of 20 acres and has an employment potential of 750. The plant would be manufacturing injectable and is a green field project.

The Chief Minister also inaugurated Laurus Labs Private Limited at Atchutapuram SEZ with an investment of Rs 440 crore in an extent of 45 acres and has an employment potential of 500 which carries out formulations and bulk drugs manufacturing.

He also inaugurated Rs 191 crore Laurus Synthesis Pvt. Ltd. at Atchutapuram SEZ in an extent of 24 acres providing jobs to 300 in its bulk drugs unit.

The Chief Minister participated in the ground breaking ceremony of Rs 240 crore Laurus Labs Private Limited at JNPC Parawada which would be coming up in an area of 15 acres and would provide employment to about 450 in its bulk drugs plant.

He also participated in the ground breaking ceremony of Laurus Synthesis Pvt Ltd for its Rs 240 crore bulk drugs unit coming up at JNPC, Parawada in 15 acres which would provide jobs to 450.
