Pune, Oct 27: To mark the 350th year of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s Hindvi Swarajya this year (2023-24), AMGM has decided to unfurl the Indian tricolour and ‘Bhagwa dhwaj’ on 350 forts that are part of the Hindvi Swarajya on 75th Republic Day of India on January 26, 2024.
The initiative was finalised in annual general meeting of AMGM.
Accordingly, all the forts will be divided into different zones and the zonal representatives will lead the initiative in their respective zones.
All the district bodies of AMGM, mountaineering clubs and Shivpremi will participate in this initiative.
AMGM is known for inculcating a culture of adventure by integrating the rich history of India, said a press release here on Friday.
