New Delhi, Nov 9- The All India Football Federation (AIFF) made a significant announcement on Wednesday, stating the termination of Dr. Shaji Prabhakaran’s services with immediate effect as of November 7, 2023. The decision was made due to a breach of trust.
In an official statement, the AIFF expressed, “The All India Football Federation hereby announces that the services of Dr. Shaji Prabhakaran have been terminated due to breach of trust with immediate effect as of November 7, 2023.”
Additionally, the AIFF revealed that M Satyanarayan, AIFF Deputy Secretary, will assume the role of Acting Secretary General of AIFF with immediate effect.
This development marks a significant change in the leadership of the AIFF, as they address the breach of trust and initiate steps to ensure the smooth functioning of the organization.
