Fadnavis Orders SIT Inquiry in Assembly After Allegations of Shiv Sena Leader Dancing with Dawood Ibrahim's Associate

Nagpur, Dec 16 – Deputy Chief Minister & Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Friday ordered an SIT (special investigation team) inquiry in the Maharashtra Assembly after Nitesh Rane showed photographs of one Sudhakar Badgujar, a leader of Shiv Sena (Thackery group), allegedly dancing with Salim Kutta, associate of fugitive underworld don Dawood Ibrahim and a 1993 Mumbai bomb blasts accused, in a party.

MLA Rane alleged that Sudhakar Badgujar had a party with underworld don Dawood Ibrahim’s associate Salim Kutta and a video of him dancing in the party has gone viral in social media recently.

He further alleged that Salim Kutta, who is the main accused in the Mumbai bomb blasts case, had thrown the party while he was on parole.

Rane showed the photos of this party in the assembly and demanded immediate action. He also showed photos of Badgujar dancing in party in the house.

On this, Ashish Shelar (BJP) said that peg, Penguin and party started when MVA government was in power in Maharashtra and demanded a thorough inquiry into incident.

Then, Home Minister Fadnavis ordered an SIT inquiry into the incident.
