Bhopal, Dec 9 – The bar-taut suspense vis-à-vis who will eventually occupy the Chief Minister’s saddle in Madhya Pradesh is destined to continue till Monday, which has been earmarked as D-Day for the crucial meeting here of the Legislature Party of the ruling BJP that secured a majority in the recently concluded Assembly election.
Saffron camp sources said that all 163 MLAs are expected to attend the gathering. Among those present shall be central observers – appointed earlier Friday – and bigwigs of the BJP’s state organisation.
As is the protocol, the selection of the Legislature Party leader shall pave the way for that personage’s elevation as Chief Minister.
