Andhra Pradesh, Dec.01 – Heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema on Sunday and next Monday. Meteorological Centre said on Thursday.
In a daily weather report here, it said that thunderstorm accompanied with lightning is likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema from December 2 to 4.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at one or two places or at many places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the next seven days.
Very Heavy rainfall occurred at one or two places in Tirupati District during the last 24 hours.
Rain occurred at one or two places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema and dry weather prevailed in Yanam during the same period.
Northeast monsoon has been normal in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and Rayalaseema.
The lowest minimum temperature of 19.1 degree celsius was recorded at Kalingapatnam in Coastal Andhra Pradesh on the intervening night of Wednesday and today, the report added.
