Jalna, Nov 22: District collector Srikrishna Panchal on Tuesday made an appeal to the Dhangar community to not disrupt law and order situation in the district while demanding for reservation in Scheduled Tribes category.
In a press statement here, he appealed citizens to exercise restraint and maintain peace and to cooperate with the district and police administration to maintain law and order and social harmony in the district.
Earlier, the members of Dhangar community today took out a march in the area of the collectorate but as some of protesters in the march apparently became aggressive, they were turned back.
