Mumbai, Nov 21: The rupee opened positive on Tuesday at 83.33, rising by one paisa on the selling of the dollar by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Foreign Exchange said.
The domestic unit improved owing to a weak dollar against other world currencies amid a strong opening in the stock market.
The rupee recorded intraday highs and lows at 83.31 and 83.35, respectively, the dealer added.
