Hoshiarpur, Nov 20: Heralding an era of unprecedented development ‘Vikas Kranti’ in state, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal laid the foundation stone for developmental projects worth Rs 867 crore as a gift to the people of Hoshiarpur.
They laid the foundation stone of projects, including Govt. Medical College, to come up at a cost of Rs 550 crore. The college to be named after Shaheed Udham Singh will have a provision for admission of 100 MBBS seats, for which the National Medical Commission UG-MSR-2023 requires 420 beds.
They also dedicated the Sri Guru Ravidas Ji Memorial with an auditorium and amphitheater at village Khuralgarh to the masses.
