New Delhi, Nov 18: Aam Aadmi Party National Convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday said that the party is growing rapidly across the country, and the day is not far when it will leave both Congress and BJP behind and form the government at the Centre.
Addressing the party workers at a convention held at Delhi’s Tyaggaraj Stadium, Kejriwal said he asked all volunteers to visit every house in Delhi, conduct ‘nukkad meetings,’ and gather the public’s opinion on whether he should resign or run the government from jail, AAP said in a statement.
Speaking on the alleged ‘liquor scam’, Kejriwal alleged that the BJP knows they cannot defeat the AAP in the national capital, so they have concocted the conspiracies of the alleged liquor scam, the statement said.
Taking a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Kejriwal claimed, “Modi ji feels that he is losing the Lok Sabha elections in the country. People across the country are very distressed due to unemployment, inflation, and corruption, and it has become difficult to manage household expenses. People won’t survive on their hollow promises.”
