Bhadohi (UP), Nov 4: Former Samajwadi Party (SP) MLA from Gyanpur assembly seat, Vijay Mishra, has been found guilty in a gangrape case by an MP-MLA court in Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh. The court also acquitted his son Vishnu Mishra and grandson Jyoti alias Vikas Mishra. The quantum of punishment will be pronounced on Saturday.
The case was filed by a girl from Varanasi who accused the former MLA and his relatives of gang rape. Following the complaint, the court took up the case against Vijay Mishra, Vishnu Mishra, and Vikas Mishra under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
