Chennai, Oct 19: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin extended his heartfelt congratulations to Guidance TN for securing the prestigious United Nations Promotion Award 2023 for outstanding achievements in scaling up energy transition investments. The accolade was announced at the 8th World Investment Forum held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, on Monday.
In a social media post, Chief Minister Stalin commended the innovative approaches and dedication to climate action demonstrated by Guidance-TN. He emphasized that the organization’s noteworthy efforts reflect the commitment of the Dravidian Model Government to building a greener future.

Guidance TN, serving as the nodal agency for Investment Promotion under the Department of Industries, Investment Promotion, and Commerce, Government of Tamil Nadu, stood out for its excellence in scaling up energy transition investments. The United Nations award acknowledges Guidance’s commitment to attracting investments through innovative approaches in promotion, finance, and partnerships for energy transition.
Guidance TN becomes the sole Investment Promotion Agency in South Asia to receive the UN award this year, marking a significant achievement for the state of Tamil Nadu.
