Hyderabad, Oct 12 : Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working President and Minister K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) asserted on Wednesday that opposition parties in the state are intellectually bankrupt and lack issues to fight for. Addressing a meeting in Telangana Bhavan, KTR called on Union Home Minister Amit Shah to apologize for making false statements about farmer suicides in Telangana, citing the Union Government’s statement in Parliament that the state had the lowest farmer suicide rate.

KTR criticized the BJP for failing to establish a Tribal University in Telangana and not allocating any educational institution to the state in the last nine years. He highlighted Telangana’s achievement of having a medical college in each district under Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao’s leadership and claimed that the state has played a key role in uplifting tribal communities. KTR urged people to vote for BRS in the upcoming elections to continue Telangana’s development under KCR’s leadership.”
